Uniflash automatically downloads an old version of Seggar software for J-Link and does not work for CC1352P7

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH, CC1352P7, SEGGER

My customer is trying to flash the new CC1352P7 device throught J-Link in Uniflash, and it came out a prompt saying the device is not supported.

It seems Uniflash has downloaded a version of V6.44b of Segger software, but the support for CC13x2x7/CC26x2x7 is not enabled by Segger until V7.54.

The customer also has tried download a new version from Segger.com and replace the DLL file in Uniflash's folder, but the J-Link will be recognized to be an illegal device.

Is there another work around for this or do we have a plan to include a newer version of J-Link software in the next Uniflash release? Thanks.

Best regards,

Shuyang

  • Hello,

It seems Uniflash has downloaded a version of V6.44b of Segger software, but the support for CC13x2x7/CC26x2x7 is not enabled by Segger until V7.54.

A bug has been filed for this issue. The tracking link is: https://sir.ext.ti.com/jira/browse/EXT_EP-10659

The customer also has tried download a new version from Segger.com and replace the DLL file in Uniflash's folder, but the J-Link will be recognized to be an illegal device.

This should work. I download jlink V7.58b and the copied the JLink_x64.dll from "C:\Program Files\SEGGER\JLink" to "C:\ti\uniflash_7.0.0\deskdb\content\TICloudAgent\win\ccs_base\DebugServer\drivers" in UniFlash. This allowed me to configure UniFlash for CC1352P7.

What is the exact error message that the customer saw? Was it the same error as before (unkown device)?

    Thanks
