TI is pleased to announce a new C28/CLA compiler version 21.12.0.STS which includes the following new features:

Available in release 21.12.0.STS:

  • Interrupt save/restore efficiency improvement
  • Performance improvements in reducing register spilling
  • Performance improvements to keep global float/double variables in registers
  • Performance improvements with additional if-conversion use cases
  • Performance improvements with directly loading 16-bit constants to ACC register
