Hello Mark,

The link you used in your post is invalid. Typically when you want to program both cores of the F2837xD, you can start the debug, connect to CPU1, load its .out program file (if this is not done already), then connect to CPU2 to do the same, and then run both CPUs. I'm not sure what the tutorial you referenced laid out, but this is the method I use when debugging on a dual-core device.

I know how to make the connection from CCS.  My question is specifically how to do this from GUI Composer.

I used section 7.6 as a guide for how to connect to one core, but my attempt to extend it to a second core did not work.

Thanks!  I think that is the type of detail I need.  It seemed similar to what I was trying, but I also was not using the correct core names.   

I won't be able to try it until next week.  Do both cores run automatically after the program is downloaded?
