Technically it is unlimited as a SW breakpoint is an instruction inserted by CCS. CCS itself may limit the number. I am going to move this to the CCS forum for the experts there to comment.

Hi Harisson,
Lori is correct that you can set technically an unlimited number of software breakpoints (of course practically unlimited is not likely ....)
