Import doesn't show in project explorer

Hello

I have just installed CCS V5 (Version: 5.1.0.09000)

When I import a project "existing CCS/CCE Eclipse projects" from either CCE V3 or CCSV4 the project imports, the files are displayed in windows explorer when I look at the directory, but they do not display in the CCSV5 project explorer window.

If I create a new blank project it does correctly display in the project explorer window.

Doesn't seem to matter if I check the "Copy projects into workspace" checkbox or not during the import

Also the CVS options don't display under import

So when you do the import with the check box enabled, do you actually see the project files copied into your workspace folder?

  • Files are copied to the CCS V5 workspace and can be viewed using windows explorer, they just don't appear within the project explorer of CCS V5.

I have tried uninstalling the CCS V5 and re installing it, still behaves the same.

I have only installed CCS V5 for MSP430 and Stellaris processors.

Remainder of install was default values.

Installed under windows XP into Program Fils\Texas Instruments\ccsv5

  • Can you get any project to appear in the view, imported or not? Could your provide the provide the project folder in your workspace? If you don't want to post it publicly, contact me via private message.

    Thanks

    ki
