ccsv5 - missing include and library files

I've been working on a project that includes SYS/BIOS and NDK.  It builds fine in the debug configuration, but can't find header files or libraries for bios/ndk in the release configuration.  I've been staring at all of the menus for the two build configurations and I just can't find the difference.  Any suggestions on where I might look?

  • Hi Jim,

which v5 version are you using and which example?   Are you on 5.2 or 5.1.1?  Have you tried creating a new configuration and copying the settings from the debug configuration?  This is probably the easiest way to solve your issue.

Please give that a try and keep us informed.

    Best Regards,
    Lisa

  • I'm using 5.2, and I'm working on code for my own project - not an example.  Your suggestion about the new configuration with a copy of the debug settings worked.  I didn't realize it was so easy to copy settings.

I never actually found the problem.  I got as far as figuring out that the configPkg directory was absent from my release build directory, but I have no idea why.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Hi Jim,

glad to hear that worked for you and thanks for the update.

    All the best with development.

    Best Regards,
