Unable to connect to the target board MSP-TS430RGC64USB

Hello!

I'm using CCS Version: 5.2.1. I have MSP-TS430RGC64USB target board with MSP430F5528iRGC. The problem is that I am not able to connect to the target board. The CCS after the code debugging shows the massege - Error connecting to the target: Unknown device - > Unable to connect to the target. How it is possible to solve this problem?

    Irena,

    I have the same board and a similar device (F5527) and it connects just fine. However, initially by accident I had this board misconfigured (JP3 was set to external power) and I got this same error message. I am using CCSv5.2.1.00018.

    Can you check this jumper and see if it is set to internal power?

    Hi Irena,

    do you have the header file for the device included?  Are you running examples?  Can you connect with the free flash tool from Elprotronic (www.elprotronic.com)? 

    Just a few further suggestions, but I would definitely first check jumper and hardware settings as per my colleagues post.
