XDS100 and CCS 5.x

Hello, I am considering buying XDS100.
I would like to use it with CCS 5.x and TMS570 micro.

I would like to clarify some questions at first:
- Does XDS100 work under Win7 64-bit?
- Do I get a free CCS 5.x license by purchasing XDS100?
- Is TMS570 supported by both tools?
- Is there any limitation?

Hi Meereck,

the answer to all your questions is yes, and I would recommend the XDS100v2. This works in Win 7 64 bit (in fact I have used one in this windows version myself), it allows free CCS use and supports the TMS570 parts. There is no limitation on the license. The only comment would be, as you are likely aware the XDS100 does not support trace and is a slower emulator.
