C6657LS works with XDS200 USB but not XDS200 Onboard USB

Hi Rafael,

Just purchased a 6657LS EVM with integrated XDS200 emulator... My CCS v5.4 is asking for a full license....I think its because when I select "XDS200 onboard", the target test fails but works ok when I select "XDS200 USB" ...

Is there any way around this????

regards

Anthony

    Anthony,

You are correct; the connection named Texas Instruments XDS2xx USB Emulator requires a full license. Are you able to connect to your board using the Texas Instruments XDS2xx USB Onboard Emulator connection despite what the Test Connection button says? If you can, it is possible there is a bug there.

I discovered that if I hit the reset button , I could get it to work.

however I occasionally get a power failure message during the debug session, which I think is due to the power supply or power connector?
