I used the web installer for CCS. After downloading it, I tried to open the file but an error message displays on the screen which says Windows cannot open this file : ccs_setup_5.5.0.00077[1]. Please help.

it seems that the file isn't having any extension. I might be wrong here but I seriously need help here.

Hi Vikas,

I guess the web installer file was not properly downloaded. Why don't you try the offline installer? Its more stable and you would always have a backup setup file.

Hi Vikas,

Gautams advice is good, check the full installer and / or for corruption. What windows version are you using? Note that you will need to disable antivirus and use compatibility mode if in Win 8.

Please keep us informed and send any log files if you have further problems. These are in the installjammer registry directory which may be hidden and is under program files or program files (x86).

Hey Lisa,

yeah I forgot to update about my query.

And Yeah, the installer worked just fine. Its extension was missing. So I had to provide the extension ".exe" separately to make the Setup work. Everything's working perfectly now.
