Target Connection issue USB emulator for ez430 Chronos with CCS5.3 tool

When tried connecting to the Target ez430 Chronos using CCS5.3 for dumping the Hello world code.

I got the message that says " Could not match the Target either MSP430F5509/ CC430F6137"

Any work around pls. help

    Hi,

    we would need further details.   How are you attempting to connect?  Have you previously done so successfully?   Have you looked through the getting started material?

    Note : part of the chronos does not contain an msp430 and can therefore not be programmed with CCS.    The watch does have an msp430 and can be programmed with the windows version of CCS as per the user material.
