How can i connect Beagleboard to the CCS?
Hi Bhargav,
Can you provide more details? See: http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81/t/3131.aspx
Thanks
ki
I have B6 Rev. Beagleboard and i am trying to connect it to CCS v3.3 using:
Blackhawk USB560m - OMAP3530 Beagleboard or
Blackhawk USB560bp - OMAP3530 Beagleboard
as target boards.
But it says, "Error initializing emulator"
What could be the problem?
And sorry, i was not aware of the link.
Yes, i am using the latest one Service Release 12.1 (3.3.82.13)
Also i might be asking a silly question, but sorry for that.
Do i require any extra hardware to connect this. Right now i am using mini-USB to USB cable to connect the Beagleboard to the computer. Also i have Blackhawk Control Panel, but it does not show Beagleboard as a device attached to the system. Do i require to install some driver file to connect this?
Thanks for your quick replies!

The Beagleboard does not have any onboard emulation. Using just a USB cable to connect your board to your PC will not work. You need an emulator. The Blackhawk USB560m and USB560bp are external emulators from Blackhawk. You would need those emulators to use those configurations with your board.
Thanks

Thanks so much ki for this info. I spent much time in figuring out why it was not working!
