Did you try re-installing CCS ? If not uninstall CCS completely and delete the respective folders and do a fresh installation.

How will re-installing affect my temporary trial license? Will it still be there when I reinstall, if not will it let me reactivate it?

This message is not really an error but a warning telling you that you are trying to start a new debug session while you have an active debug session running. This message usually comes up when you press the "Debug" button (the button that looks like a "bug") to build/debug the active project while you have a current debug session running. Is this what you are doing? If no, please describe the exact actions you are doing when this message appears. A screenshot is also helpful.

Before I hit debug. This right after starting up CCS. Note it now starts in debugger mode with run, stop, ect... all disabled, and the debugger terminal is empty

Now if I hit debug on any screen. I get

Thanks. I see you are in the CCS Debug perspective and that you are not in an existing debug session. That message should not be happening.

I'm getting this message too when trying to debug. After that it goes to debug mode but the Resume/Suspend/terminate buttons are greyed.
Did you manage to fix this?

When I opened CCS it said something about the workspace being outdated and that I wouldn't be able to downgrade once I upgraded, I clicked on upgrade. I didn't do any update of CCS recently. This came out of the blue and I really need this...

I'm also on 6.0.1.00040, Win 7 in VirtualBox.

Has a solution been found for this question? I have the same problem. In the Debug window, which is blank, right-clicking to get a pop up windows has only one option available: Terminate and Remove. I tried that and it does not help.

Is it possible that there is a 'lock' type file that was not deleted? I see that type of thing for license servers.
