Profiling of the Code and Code optimization

Hi,

Can any one tell me that is there any tool to optimize my code size ?

I am trying to run an application on C6748 board but give gives an error that it can not write my program in memory because of lack of memory.
I want to know that how can I know my actual code size ? And if I found it greater than the maximum available, which of course it is , then how can I optimize my code to reduce its size ?

A starting point for optimizing your code is to experiment with the different levels of optimization and speed vs code size optimization offered by the compiler.

If you are new to CCS, this quick tip video shows where the compiler optimization settings can be found in the project settings. Further details about optimization can be found in the C6000 Compiler Users Guide.
