loading symbols in CCS5 for application running on C6678

I am working with the tms320c6678 and am trying to step through an application running on the zero core. I boot up the board and launch the application. Then in code composer I connect to the zero core. Then I go to Run-> load-> load symbols.

so, i can't debug this program through step.

but,the program operation normal.

Hello Jiang,

It looks like the debugger can't find your source files/debugging info. is that correct?

Do you see your source code directory in the Source Lookup Path tab located in the symbols only debug configuration's source tab?

Also, did you compile the program with Debugging model set to Full symbolic debug (located in The project properties at CCS Build-> C2000 Compiler->Advanced Options->Advanced Debug Options)?

My last post referred to C2000 settings. I would assume the C6000 should have something similar.

As suggested by stevenh, CCS is likely not able to find the paths to source files to make the source correlation.

Please see the section on "Debugging without a project" in this Tips and Tricks slide set for the different methods of adding source lookup paths.

Thank you for your answer.
I had seen the section on "Debugging without a project" in this Tips and Tricks slide set .
I find my problem is "no symbols are defined for ox0080B62C". For example, the method 1 , in image the have button "locate file", but in my image don't have it.
So,I think my problem maybe is CCSV5 can't find the main? but it operation normal.
