CCS 6.1.3 Linux does not Support J-Link EDU without Licence?

Hello,

i want to debug a TM4C129 device with my J-Link EDU.

I get a message "License cannot be acquired".

Can someone confirm that J-Link is only supported with a License?

What is the prefered debug probe for TM4C devices? XDS100v2 or XDS110?

    To use a J-Link probe you can either use the time limited evaluation license or a full license.  If you are a student you can contact the TI university program  and they may be able to get you a license.
