CCE 3.1 and CCS v4

Hi,

We are writing code for the MSP430F5419 and the MSP430F168, currently we are using CCE v3.1 SR1 but have recently purchased CCS v4.

Can CCS v4 be installed alongside CCE v3.1 or do we need to install CCS and migrate our exsisting CCE projects to it?

    Ben,

    Yes, you can install CCE3.1 alongside CCSv4 - if you keep them in different directories, of course.

    What I recommend during the transition period, where you test to check if your projects are working flawlessly with the new toolset, is to create a separate workspace for CCSv4 and import the CCE projects into it. This way you can keep the original workspace intact.
