Hi three,

I am trying to program MSP430G2101 using UniFlash:

However, it fails to bring GUI and stuck on this window:

Any suggestions?

Stan,

There seems to be a metadata issue on the G2101 and a few other MSP430 devices. We will look into fixing this issue in the next UniFlash release.

In the mean time, please try replacing the attached dinfra_resource.json.gz with the one in your installed directory 'deskdb' folder (backup the original just in case).

dinfra_resource.json.gz

This should fix the issue on the MSP430G2101. Let me know if this workaround works for you.

Hi Ricky,

Thanks, it helped. Now Uniflash seems to be working with MSP430G2101. However, it looks like the tool still has the same problems with the other G series devices. Hope it is going to be fixed in the next release.

Stan,

I only updated the package to support G2101, so some of the other affected devices will still not work. The fix that will be available in the next release should fix it for all devices.

Yes, I got it. Just wanted to point out that not only G2101 has a problem but some others as well within G series.
