Compiler/MSP430FR5994: GCC running a function from RAM

Hi all,

I am using MSP430FR59xx and I have a function that I need to run from RAM. I have been able to very easily enable this in CCS using the TI compiler by using __attribute__((ramfunc)) and in IAR by using __ramfunc. This uses a specified linker file section that is already set up to handle copying the code from FRAM to RAM at start-up, so as a user it is very simple and already done for me.

However, I need to also provide an example for GCC in CCS, and I'm having trouble finding if a similar feature exists for MSP430 GCC. Are you aware of a similar feature for the GCC compiler in CCS, and how to enable it? If not, do you have any advice on how to best implement this when using GCC?
