You will need a full license (Node Locked or Floating) to use CCSv4 with an XDS510 PLUS without a time limit.
Thanks

I am missing something. What is "Full" license?
There are Free, Microcontroller, and Platinum. Which one is the FULL one?
I have received 90-days extension license - isn't that FULL license that should unlock XDS510?
Wiki page says I need to download DVD image, won't it work with DVD that came with DVEVM (DV365) kit?
The various license types are described here:
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Licensing_-_CCSv4#License_Types
Platinum Node Locked or Floating is a "full" license. Yes the 90 day time limited license for Platinum will work with XDS510 PLUS. Hence my comment that you need a full license to use it without a time limit.
You can use either the image that came on the DVD with the DVEVM or download it from the wiki. Most likely the image on the wiki is later than the one that came with the DVEVM (though CCS should automatically detect updates and offer to install them).
