Does CCS provide any APIs which I can call in my c or C++ program?

I checked the link you suggested. I got some basic idea of scripting.

From this "spraab7.pdf", I was told to get scripting  details in "1. Code Composer Studio Scripting Guide on-line help and HTML-based documentation
(available in the \bin\utilities\ccs_scripting\docs directory of your CCStudio installation)."

But I find that it is an empty folder in of your CCStudio installation. Can you pls let me know how to get those help materials? Thanks

After you install "CCS Scripting v1.5" from the Update Advisor you should see this directory populated with the documentation.

One thing that almost fooled me on the Update Advisor website was the fact that there are two links to the Scripting tools: one is called "CCStudio Scripting" but refers to an older version (1.4); the other is called "CCS Scripting v1.5" and is the correct one referred by <spraab7.pdf>.

Try this and see if the directory shows up for you as well.

I've looked at the doc and it seems that you need to use a scripting language to use the facility.  I think the original question (and the one I am also interested in) is accessing the API from C or C++ code (a GUI for instance).  Am I missing something?

C and C++ can call Perl shell at the run time and Perl shell can call CCS Scritping language which operates CCS.

I am able to see CCS Scritping 1.5 thru Update Adivisor now. But I am asked for Service Code when I click red "register" button for Scriptiong 1.5. Do you know what Service Code is and where I can get it ? The CCS productor is installed by our IT support group and I know nothing about the Service Code.

The Service Code is used to register CCS. This makes you eligible for updates and support. Your code should come inside the CD case that CCS came with. If you lost it, you can contact ccs_license_file_help@list.ti.com for help.
