CCS/msp430f6435: how to enable use printf() in CCS.

Hi, I have used printf() in Code Composer studio but its not working,does it require any setting in CCS??

Hello,
Note that printf requires a fairly large amount of target resources (memory) for a device such as MSP430. If you wish to use it, please see the article below:

Suraj,

printf requires a number of things to work. Is this a project that had printfs working in the past or is it a new project that you are now trying to use printf with?

Things to check:

Is #include <stdio.h> present at the top of the file you are using printf in?
What is the printf support level set to under Project -> Properties -> Compiler -> Advanced Options -> Language Options. It is typically minimal for MSP430
Is the CIO breakpoint set:

What is the heap size? You may need to increase your heap. There is more information on heap size requirements and other printf details here:

I have made the above mentioned changes but printf() still not working
