CCS/TMS320F2801: Using Code Composer V5.5 with XDS110 JTAG Probe

Hello,

I am intending to use some TMS320F28x processor (haven't decided yet) and I would like to know if it will work on CCS V5.5 with the XDS110 JTAG Probe.

In the DS of the XDS110 I saw that it supports CCS V7 and above and in other TI blog I saw that it supports CCS V6.1 and above.

Will the XDS110 work with CCS V5.5?

    Hello,
    It may be possible but note that CCSv5.5 is very old and I can see future issues arising when trying to use it with XDS110 with such an old version. It is strongly recommended to use CCSv7, especially if you are planning to use the standalone XDS110 probe
