While installing bios_6_50_01_12 from CCS7 Resource Explorer, I received the following pop-up dialog box:

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
session context was:(profile=epp.package.cpp, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).
No repository found containing: binary,org.eclipse.platform.ide.executable.gtk.linux.x86_64,4.6.0.I20160606-1100

Other installed products are:
C2000Ware 1.0.2.00
XCDTools 3.50.3.33_core and 3.32.2.25_core

My OS is Debian 9 (stretch) 64-bit

I receive an similar error when I check for updates from the Help Menu.

Any idea how to proceed?

Found the fix for this here:

Deleted install and installed again without sudo.

Tom,

Were you also running as sudo?

In general I always install as user and run as user, with the exception being running the driver install script as sudo after the CCS install.

Thanks Tom, it worked in my case.

I use CCS v.7.0.3 on Kubuntu 17.04. There was following error message:

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
session context was:(profile=epp.package.cpp, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).
No repository found containing: binary,org.eclipse.platform.ide.executable.gtk.linux.x86_64,4.6.0.I20160606-1100

Reinstalling Composer without sudo has solved the problem.
