CCS/TMS320C6727: CCS/TMS320C6727

Part Number: TMS320C6727

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I have been using the PADK(which has the TMS320C6727) to perform active noise control system.

I have programmed the PADK using CCS 4.2 via the blackhawk emulator.

But when i got graphical results, i am unable to save the results on a csv file.

Can you help me out for this?

Thanks.

Sajaad

Please describe this part in more detail. I assume that you visualized the data via a CCS graph and wish to use the export feature to export the data to a file. Is that the case?

Also note that CCSv4.2 is very old and no longer supported. Current versions of CCS support the C6727 so unless you have some other reason for using an old CCS version (like using DSP/BIOS), I suggest updating your CCS version so we can support you better.

    Thanks

  • Thanks Ki,

    Its exactly the case.
I got the data via a CCS graph and i wanted to save the data to a file such that i can manipulate further for e.g in matlab.
In fact, i right click on the graph and then choose "data"and "export". A window pops in asking me to choose a name and to save the file with a *.csv extension. but when i save that file in a location, it does not appear in that location when i look for it later.
Can you tell why this is so?

Also, please note that the CCS4.2 works very well for the application that i am using, so i prefer to stick to that version.

    Thanks,

    Regds,

  • I am able to reproduce the issue with CCS 4.2.5. The issue seems resolved when i use a later CCS version (CCSv5.x). Hence it may be a bug with CCSv4. But due to the unsupported nature of CCSv4, we cannot provide any fixes for it. Hence I recommended updating your CCS version to something more recent if you wish to use that functionality. Sorry for the inconvenience
