Hello,

i was able to connect to the board a few month ago. Then i had to work at other projects. Now i can go back to my MSP430 and i can't connect to the board anymore.I'm using a MSP-FET430UIF Debugger, which is shown in the divce manager correctly.

    Thanks for your post and welcome to the E2E forum! There are typically two things that can cause this error. First, check to see if the MSP430F5438 on your (assumed) custom board is getting powered up correctly. Next, check to see if you have the correct JTAG settings (4-wire versus 2-wire SBW) in software (e.g. CCS, IAR) and hardware (e.g. jumpers on a target socket board).

    Let me know if this resolves the issue. Also, please be aware that we're recommending the newer MSP-FET for all new designs.
