CCS/TMS320C28342: HOW TO USE SIMULATOR ON CCS5.0

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

 I'm working on a project with the TMS320CXXXX and am looking for training or a tutorial on how to use the simulator for this in Code Composer Studio 5.x.  Any links, documentation, examples, etc. for working with the simulator in CCS 5.x would be very much appreciated.

    Hello,

    To use a simulator, select "Texas Instruments Simulator" as the connection type:

    Then pick the simulator you wish to use. For C2000, there is only one simulator option - F283x CPU simulator.

    Otherwise, please refer to the CCSv5 Training page for more collateral on using CCS:

    please keep in mind that CCSv5 is very old. Also note that simulators are no longer supported. Hence there is limited support that we can provide on both of them.
