CCS/CC2640: What is the .jxbrowser-data direcory??

Howdy Ya'll,

When I import an example program from a BLE stack I see a <.jxbrowser-data> directory being created in my project directory. What is this and do folks archive it, is it of use for debugging?

Hello Fred,
The .jxbrowser-data folder is basically the CCS browser cache folder. The CCS embedded browser (which is used by Resource Explorer, the Getting Started view, App Center, etc) is based off JxBrowser. Clearing that folder is essentially the same as clearing the cache of your standard browser in FireFox, Chrome, IE, Safari, etc.
