CCS/TMS320F28067: CCS 5.5 project not working in CCS 7

I am having an issue with a project I'm building in CCS7.

when I build the exact same project in CCS5.5. It seems to be working just fine.

I'm using the same compiler version, xdctools, and sys/bios.

Is there something I am overlooking?

If the version of software components (compiler, xdctools, sys/bios, any other software components) and build options/settings are the same in both versions of CCS, I would expect the output to functionally be the same.

When you say the CCSv7 build is not working, in what way is it not working?

The code will build but after initializing hardware and calling BIOS_start() non of the tasks start and the cpu resets.

If the CCSv5 project was imported into CCSv7, then I would expect the project options to be preserved, and only the versions of tools used for the build would need to be changed. Take a closer look at the project options and perhaps the linker map files to see if any differences stand out.

I'm using the same linker command file for both CCS versions.
