CCS/UCD3138064: XDS100V2 Device Identification issue

Gents,

My customer is using the XDS100V2 USB debug probe with the UCD3138064 and gets the following error:

ARM7_0: GEL Output: /nMemory Map Initialization Complete/nARM7_0: GEL Output: /tMemory Map Setup for Flash at Address 0x0ARM7_0: Missing String property "FlashVerboseMode"

ARM7_0: Device Identification (DEV) 0x447F, Device is <unknown>

ARM7_0: Flash Programmer: Target configuration does not match the connected chip; expected:UCD3138064, actual:<unknown>

Communication works fine if replacing the chip with UCD3138064A and changing the project configuration from UCD3138064->UCD3138064A

Communicating with the UCD3138064 using the UCD3XXX Device GUI works fine.

Any hints on how to get the XDS100V2 debug probe to recognize the UCD3138064

I haven't heard anything. However, this week is a holiday week in the US and I suspect many people are out of the office - thus the delay in communications. Sorry.

Many thanks for informing us of this, and apologies for any inconvenience caused.
This is an issue on our side, the device ID list needs to be updated in our tools.
We will rectify this as soon as possible and aim to include the fix in the next release of the tools.

Hello,

Support for the UCD3138064 device indicated in the thread

is now supported in CCS v8 and newer.
will be supported in Uniflash 4.6 expected to be released by the end of this year

Let us know if you experience any issues.
