CCS: Error while importing MSP432 example

Hello

I am trying to import the example from "simplelink_msp432e4_sdk_3_10_00_11", but I am facing an error. Did we have to connect development board before importing an example?

Nipun,

I can think of a couple reasons that this would happen.

1) The version of CCS being used is too old and did not have MSP432E support
2) When you installed CCS you did not select to install support for MSP432.

What version of CCS are you running?

#2 is most likely the issue and can be resolved by running the CCS installer again. Point it to your existing installation and then select to install support for MSP432.

8.3.0 is fine. Can you verify that you have installed support for MSP432? I suspect that it was not installed.

You can quickly check by just going to Project -> New CCS Project.
Type 432 in the filter box at the top. If it doesn't show any matches then MSP432 support was not installed.

You can correct that by running the installer again, pointing it to your existing installation. It will then if you the option to add support for more families to that install.

Yes, you are correct MSP432 support is not installed. But Now I installed a new version of ccs 9.0.1.
