CCS/MSP432P401R: Unknown Module: File debug error when trying to run gpio_toggle_output example project

Can you let me know what operating system and browser you are using?

Also if you go to dev.ti.com with the LaunchPad plugged in does it detect the LaunchPad ok and display a picture of it on the left?

My OS is Microsoft Windows 10 Home Version 10.017134 and I'm using Google Chrome Version 76.0.3809.132. 

Yes, it detects the board and shows that it is connected.

Well if the board is being detected then we know that at least some of the cloud agent is running ok.

When you click on debug you are getting a dialog like this one but instead of "DeviceDetector" it says "File".  Is that correct?

Yes, the error that I'm getting says Debug Failed! Unknown Module: File.

Yeah, the cloud agent is enabled, but whenever I try to debug, I'm unable to because of this error.

The File module is used to do file access on your PC so it is essential.  Would you be able to zip up and attach the TICloudAgent folder from your user folder?  The file module should be in there as it is part of the same base installation that the device detection module is in.  I will take a look and see if it is missing.

Thanks Grace.  The file is there and looks identical to mine.  I am going to check with some people here.  We may need to turn on some logging to see why it is not loading the module.

Lets try turning on logging.

Inside the <user folder>/ticloudagent folder there should be a ticloudagent.bat file.

Near the top of that file add these 2 lines.  You can change the location of the log file if needed.

set TI_DS_ENABLE_LOGGING=1
set TI_DS_LOGGING_OUTPUT=c:/temp/my.log


This should result in 2 files being generated

C:/temp/my_ticld.log
C:/temp/my.log


To get it to create the logs I would edit the .bat file, then close your browser, then open the browser and try CCS Cloud again.

Sorry I've been away from my board all day. I followed the instructions that you sent but when I tried to run a project on CCS Cloud, it wanted me to reinstall the TI cloud agent again. I tried editing the file in administration mode and received the same result. Attachments are below.

Did the logs get created at all?

If you run the .bat file that was edited from the command line does it give an error?

The logs didn't get created at all. When I ran the bat file in admin mode, I received no errors. I closed and reopened the browser before connecting to the board too.

I think we are going to have to debug on your machine.  We even copied your files onto a machine here and it worked fine.
