How to bring up the Trace Buffer on a Blackhawk USB-560M Emulator with Code Composer Studio 4?

I am using a BlackHawk USB-560M Emulator running under Code Composer Studio 4 with a TMS320DM6441 target part and would like to utilize trace debugging.  I have roughly followed the instructions on on the following link without success:

Is there someone out there who is up and running on this that can help me.  It looks like the trace buffer process starts up and I have a trace output window, but I only get "start of trace" and "end of trace" entries, and no trace data.

    It sounds like you haven't programmed any trace jobs in the Unified Breakpoint Manager.  This is where you configure the Advanced Event Triggering Unit to turn trace on and off based on specific events and where you select the type of data that you want to capture.  I'd recommend having a look at the following 5 minute video that gives you an example of how to do this.
