was working with the other project "traffic monitoring project found in the industrial folder on resource explorer" but had difficulties because i do no know how to change the configs to monitor objects feet away instead of meters want to change the parameters.

  • Hello,

Older versions of the demo can be downloaded  by choosing the required  package version.

A version identical to the one you are looking is available for IWR1443 device under industrial Tool Box version  1.6.2.

Please browse to the path below:

Labs   >   Traffic Monitoring Demo > Setup Guide

Please note that above demo is for IWR1443 device and is unsupported.

In order to get the latest demo please use the Latest Traffic Monitoring code for supported EVMs IWR6843 and/or IWR1843

Once you have these demo's loaded and running turning for specific objects can be done using the config parameters.

    Tuning:

Links for Tuning Traffic monitoring Demo so that detection parameters can be tuned. :

    • Customizing thresholds for Objects are similar to OOB demo See:  User Guide   check for  'CFAR Thresholds '   in  table "mmWave SDK Demos - CLI commands and parameters"
    • This demo is identical to Long range people counting which has a customization so advanced parameters can be configured via Customization guide available for that demo:
        • Labs  > Long range People Counting > Customization Guide

    • Other Threads for Tuning:

How to choose the required Tirex version is explained on landing page of Tirex Industrial toolbox, scroll to How to bottom of  Right pane.

    Hope this helps.

Please let us know if you have more questions.

    Thank you
