Hello,

I am using MSP430F4152.

While making making the program,

I find one error.

I do not understand it.

(it is related to .text size 0x4116)

Is it due to the shortage of memory?

I am uploading one screen shoot, with the message.

Please check it.

Your code (".text") is too big to fit in the MCU (Flash). The F4152 has 16KB and 0x4116 is a little bit more than that.

If you haven't already, increase the optimization level; the optimizer can shrink your code considerably. Beyond that, you need to think about what code you don't need ("printf=full" and floating point are big consumers).

Another way to experiment with reducing code size is to use the Optimizer Assistant feature of CCS.

My calculator says that 0x4116 is 16662.

16KB is 16384 (0x4000).
