My project use MSP430 test fixture + CC256xCQFN-EM boards to tune RF parameters serval years before.

it used HCItester tool to run .bts script files for checking RF performance.

Now we need to re-tune RF parameters, but MSP430 test fixture upgrade to MSP432P401R LaunchPad .

We bought a set of CC256xCQFN-EM + BOOST-CCEMADAPTER + MSP-EXP432P401R.

but it seems HCItester tool no longer work with MSP-EXP432P401R .

Could you suggest a tool to load RF parameters on MSP-EXP432P401R, and then run it?

I am not an SW expert on program, very complex program will be hard for me.

I have current .bts file in my hand, and want to find a way to load RF parameters(such as .bts file) in MSP-EXP432P401R

then run it and check the RF performance on CC256xCQFN-EM.

You need to set the MSP432 into transparent mode for using HCI tester. Please use UNIFLASH tool to flash the attached HEX file to MAP432.

I use UNIFLASH tool to flash MSP432, meet a problem.

UART BSL initialization is unsuccessful! and pop "module closed" .

Can you give some suggestion?

My environment as below:

flash MSP432 by UART on windows

there are two COM ports for MSP-EXP432P401R , I select COM4

log recorder as below:

[12/3/2020, 3:13:34 PM] [INFO] CORTEX_M4_0: MSP432P401R(Bootloader)

[12/3/2020, 3:13:36 PM] [INFO] CORTEX_M4_0: UART BSL initialization is unsuccessful!

Environment is:

on my notebook, there are two COMs

XDS110 Class Application/User UART(COM4)

XDS110 Class Auxiliary Data port(COM3)

on UniFlash tool, Under "New Configuration", select "MSP 432P401R(BOOTLOADER)"

Then start to configure:

Application Image 1: select "TransparentMode.hex" file

COM Port: COM 4

Protocol: select UART

Communication Bridge UART: select MSP=BSL "Rocket"

URAT Speed: select 115200

UART Parity Bit: select Even
