CCSTUDIO-KEYSTONE: Can I use .GEL file Global Setup Default function on my source file?

Question 1 ) I work on TMS320C6678L evm. I want to insert  startup functions like PLL configuration, DDR configuration  from .GEL file to my source code. Do I encounter any problems?

Question 2 ) How can I find GEL prefix function definitions?
