CCS: CCSv6 Licensing issue

Dear E2E,

I have CCSv6 License Activation Key and want to generate the lic file. The CCS redirects me to

www.ti.com/activatesoftware

But the webpage does not provide any options to continue further. Intsead I have options for either using CCSv7 or downloading the unlocked license file for CCSv4/5/6.

What should I do with the Activation key for which I have paid?

You can use the license file that the web page refers to with your CCSv6 installation. software-dl.ti.com/.../ccslicense.zip

The activation codes were used to manage individual licenses so that you tie the license to a specific machine and then rehost it if you need to move it to a different one later or if you lost the license file you could go there and get a new copy. That is no longer required. You can use the license file in the link above instead (once it is extracted from the zip).
