Part Number: TIDA-00120

I want to develop using this circuit but need the following out added:

Laptop charging port: 18V 3.5amps (1)

Phone charger port: 5V 2amp (1)

Phone charger port: 5V 1amp (1)

Lighting port: 5V 1amp (1)

Still maintaining input voltage 12-44VDC.

and I will love to have panel recommendations  also. The product am design is solar umbrella.

  • Anthony,

TIDA-00120 is designed to charge a lead acid battery from a solar panel, which will then provide a constant battery voltage on the load output of the system.

This load can be connected to any other power electronics you wish to add to the design.

We have many designs focused on USB charging that could easily be adapted to the output (this is just a small selection I found):

Regarding the lightning and laptop charge port, I can't speak to a specific design that will help you as I'm not familiar with those applications. However, on the tidesigns page, if you change the tab to "search power designs by parameters", you should be able to find something that helps out.

The panel selection is also up to you to decide on. Your form factor will likely drive a lot of the decision, but with such a wide input on TIDA-00120, there are plenty of options on the open market to choose from.

Bart, thanks so much. Please can I get someone to use TI components to design my need for and pay nominal fee.
  • In reply to Anthony Osibajo:

    Anthony,
TI doesn't have any specific external 3D party design houses we can recomend for this. If you find one on your own, and refrence this design (or any others we provide) to them, we will be more than happy to provide support here for them as well.
