Champs,
I am asking this for customers.
They are looking for
1) PLC on 48 V DC, but the DC will be changing 40V to 60V
2) Bit rate is larger than 250 kbps
3) Transmission distance is about 1 meter
4) Support CAN input or CAN output. That is, CAN to PLC or PLC to CAN
Do you think this TIDA-00067 can be leveraged for above four or at least the first three requirements?
Or do you have any other suggestion?

Hi Wayne,
The TI design is built upon the PLCLite solution (
) which is a light-weight PLC solution supporting up to 21 kbps. To meet your requirement on the data rate, I would recommend you to look into the G3-PLC FCC solution (www.ti.com/.../ti-plc-g3-fcc-sn). This can support up to 250kbps PHY rate. The F28375S device running the G3-PLC supports CAN bus but the PLC solution itself doesn't include the driver/software.
For all the TI PLC solutions, there is no issue to support the 48V DC line communication.
