PMP7763: PMP7763

Part Number: PMP7763

Hi,

I have some questions regarding the PMP7763 (http://www.ti.com/tool/PMP7763), and I'm wondering if it is suitable for a 600V to 24V regulation.

1) The schematic of the current design uses specific components, but will a copy of this schematic (with exact same components) work well for a 600V to 24V step down?

2) Do you have any guidelines regarding the PCB design of the PMP7763? Is there anything I should be aware of, like noise etc. when placing parts close together?

3) Is the transformer (part number G094173LF) available anywhere? I can't seem to find the component anywhere, nor any data sheet.

Kind regards,

Anders

  • Hi Anders,
Thank you for considering the PMP7663. Answers to your questions:
    (1) It should work
    (2) I cannot find the exact guideline for this ref design, but you can follow the regular flyback layout guidelines. There are many articles discussing the flyback layout. One example is given in the Lm5172 datasheet.
    (3) Please refer to another e2e post: somebody posted the datasheet of the transformer. The link is shown below:
