TIDA-01187: How can I combine this design with TIDA-01573

Hi.

We are trying to combine TIDA-01187 with 01573 for high-speed & narrow pulse width LIDAR.

The whole frame structure is surely TIDA-01187, but some parts in each design are not compatible when they are totally integrated.

For example, as I know, GaN LMG1020 driver already has a role similar to DAC5682Z in the TIDA-01187.

Is it possible to combine the TIDA-01187 with 01573? If possible, how can I do it? Thanks!

Hi Minseong,

The TIDA-01187 and TIDA-01573 were done by two different groups. The two TIDA's are not designed to be compatible with each other. But I think you should be able to replace with TX on TIDA-01187(TSW1400 + DAC5682Z + OPA695) with a pulse gen and TIDA-01573.

Thanks! Also, can I get TSW3080 Schematics or product? The schematic is not included on the supporting design files ;)

You mean that the transmitter does not need TSW1400(Controller)? Is the pulse gen replace it including control function?
