Hi

Our customer had error message when AC analyze on TINA-TI was executed.

I attached project file.

LMH6553.tsc

The error message would be like below one.

"Node: 15"

"Component/Terminals: 15"

Could you please give us feedback how to solve this error?

BestRegards

  • The error results from no DC path to ground at the lower pin of the transformer winding N2.
It is labeled as node 15 in your schematic in the image below.

One option is to  add 1MEG resistors to ground at the two N2 pins as shown in the image below. That seemed to get rid of the error.

Another option is to change the simulation analysis parameters.
Select Analysis/Set Analysis Parameters and a pop-up window should appear.
Click the right-pointing finger icon on the lower right, select View All, and scroll to the bottom of the list.
One of the parameters is Shunt Conductance, and it has a default value of zero.
This represents a minimum default value of conductance (e.g. the DC path mentioned above) that TINA will allow between any node and ground.
Try changing this to something very small and see if that fixes the problem. The value of 1n worked for me.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Regards,
    John
