    ISO1212, which is an Isolated 24-V to 60-V Digital Input Receiver, offers the following benefits to implement safe torque off

      • Reduced external discrete components when compared to optocouplers for correctly interpreting user defined logic 0 and 1 per IEC 61131-2
      • Less temperature rise of the component due to constant input current drawn by the device
      • No ageing issue unlike Optocouplers
      • ±60-V input tolerance with reverse polarity protection meeting safety requirements
      • Field side pin shorts leading to safe failure
      • Option for single or dual device in one package to meet redundancy
