What are the benefits of using ISO1050 (Isolated 5V CAN transceiver) in the implementation of low cost, high efficiency communication modules used in Industrial applications like UPS and Energy Storage banks?
TIDA-01281 is a TI Reference Design solution to help develop low cost, high efficiency, isolated RS-485, I2C & CAN communication modules, that are used in industrial applications like UPS and Energy Storage banks.
ISO1050 is a galvanically isolated CAN transceiver that meets the specifications of the ISO11898-2 standard & up to 5000 VRMS isolation, with signaling rates up to 1Mbps and built-in bus fault protection of -27V to 40V. In TIDA-01281, this device is used to implement isolated CAN communication for providing system state information to an external CAN controller.
