WEBENCH® Tools: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hi to everybody,

I have started one very unusual but maybe I can get some help and leads to perform it:

I build HiFi a hobby vacuum tubes amplifier and I need to reduce its weight due very huge input AC power transformer that will supply the tubes. So I tried to find a way in Webench design portal one way to design one PSU with several secondary outputs as for example 6.3V/4A; 30V/0.1A, 12V/1A and high voltage for tubes plates as 350V/ 0.3A. I shall recognize that I'm quite new using the TI software design and maybe some experimented community member may give to me some hints.

Thank you in advice,

Ion Dumitriu

  • Hi Ion,

Do we need all these 4 outputs simultaneously from single power supply?

WEBENCH Power Designer supports HV AC/DC and DC/DC designs, but currently only in single output configuration,

I am sure these solutions will be available in WEBENCH Power Designer separately though(that means in single output configuration).

There is a plan however to support multi output HV designs in future in WEBENCH,

    Thanks
