Hi,

I want to use TIDA-00120 reference design for my 48V Solar system. For this i need some clarifications of this design.

1. What is the maximum input voltage i can apply for this design if i use for 48V system?

2. what is the maximum output current of this design for 48V battery charging?

3. what are the exact changes required to update the system to 48V from 24V system? only the MOSFETs or anything else?

Please help me on this

Can this design supports to 48V/10A system?

Gangadhar,

With the MOSFET changes described in the other posts, an input voltage of 55-60V should be possible. I don't have test data to back this up, and it is dependent on many factors though, so you would need to validate this yourself with actual hardware.

An output of 48V at 10A is very reasonable for the design. Just make sure that you have appropriate heat dissipation for the FETs.
