TIDA-00120: TIDA-00120

Part Number: TIDA-00120
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-010042

Hi, I am developing a li-ion battery pack with 13S4p 21700 cells, 20Ah 48V and using TIDA010030 for BMS. I also need a matching built-in MPPT charger and I wonder whether the TIDA00120 can be adapted to match the cells as a proof of concept for the first sample builds.

  • Hi Jo,

  • Hi Jo,

TIDA-00120 was designed for 12/24V batteries. You can adapt this design for 48V battery by changing the MOSFETs (and passives) used. However, a quad driver as used in this design may not give good performance. The driver has to be as close to the FETs as possible. You can also take a look at TIDA-010042 to get an idea about the changes that may be required.
