TIDA-01480: Availablity of this design

Hello.  Is this intended to be a product that will be available for purchase?  Follow on question is what is the purpose of this reference design if it cannot be purchased?

    TIDA-01480 cannot be purchased through TI's website.

    The purpose of releasing reference designs but not making them available for purchase is to put open-source solutions on the web without dealing with inventory concerns.

    You can take the Gerber files and work with a PCB fab/assembly contractor to build the board yourself. I like working with Gorilla Circuits, but there are many options in the US and elsewhere.

    If you use Altium, you could also open the Project and start making changes, or import the files into the CAD tool of your preference.

    You can also start a design from the ground up and use the schematic/layout as a reference.
