TIDA-00637: Unable to open the schematic file using Altium

Hi E2E,

Good day.

We have a customer who were unable to open the EVSC_V3.sch file from the downloaded "TIDA-00637 CAD Files" on this link: www.ti.com/.../TIDA-00637

He is using Altium. I tried opening it in UltraLibrarian but were unable to do so as well. Any idea how he can open the schematic in Altium?

Hello Art,

We used "Cadence Allegro" software for TIDA-00637 design files. Please use Allegro software to get access to all the design files.

Art,

This design (one of our older designs) was done using Eagle tool.

We can import those files into Altium by following the steps below:

Open Altium and launch “Import Wizard”
Select the .SCH and .BRD file and add them to the import wizard.
Complete the conversion process by clicking Finish and the required schematic files will be ready to use in Altium
